to the West End
We're excited to announce our investment in an expansion to the West End.

As of June 1, the Dubuque Community YMCA/YWCA reopened a fitness facility (previously located at 4170 Pennsylvania Avenue) as a satellite location under the new name:
DUBUQUE COMMUNITY YMCA/YWCA WEST
After six years in business, that fitness facility closed its doors. The Dubuque Community YMCA/YWCA purchased the equipment inside the fitness business and took over the lease of the physical site. [The Y did not purchase memberships, but will honor paid-in-full memberships.]

ABOUT OUR NEW LOCATION
What was the purchase agreement for the 4170 Pennsylvania site? The Dubuque Community YMCA/YWCA purchased the fitness equipment inside the building and will take over the lease of the site. We did not purchase memberships, but will honor paid-in-full memberships. (See questions below for detailed information regarding membership transitions.)
What will the hours be? The hours at YMCA/YWCA West will follow the same scheduled hours as our main location. (The hours are posted on this webpage.)
I have a membership at the Y. What does this mean? As a current Y member, you will now get the benefit of two locations. The check-in system at YMCA/YWCA West will be the same scan card you use at the North Booth facility.
I have a paid-in-full membership at the former fitness facility. How does this affect me? Paid-in-full members will be honored and transferred into our system; you will need to stop by the desk to receive your new scan card. [No activation fee will be charged.] You will also have full access to our North Booth facility.
I have a month-to-month auto-draft membership at the former fitness facility. How does this affect me? Month-to-month bank draft memberships do not transfer over automatically. We welcome you to try out the facility under our management. You'll like what you see! And... all Y members have full access to our North Booth facility as well!
My employer had a corporate plan with the former fitness facility. Is this still an option? We also have a Corporate Wellness Partnership Program available for local employers. Please contact Scott Earl at firstname.lastname@example.org or 563.556.3371 for more information.
